Correlation between sleep disorders and the level of adipose cytokines in maintenance hemodialysis patients |

Abstract Objective: Look for the potential relationship between the level of adipose cytokines and sleep disorders in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients, so as to explore the mechanism of sleep disorders affecting cardiovascular disease. Methods: Eighty-two cases of MHD patients with dialysis more than 3 months were chosen in our hemodialysis center from January 2013 to August 2014 as the study group, and were divided into two groups according to PSQI score (PSQI≤5 and PSQI>5). Urea, creatinine, albumin, CRP, leptin, interleukin-6 specimens were measured in two groups before hemodialysis. Statistical analysis was performed on two groups of patients with these indicators. Results: Sex and age in two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). But CRP and leptin in sleep disorder groups were higher than the control group, there was statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: Sleep disorder correlated to the level of adipose cytokines in hemodialysis patients.
