Abstract Objective: To establish a method to determine the concentration of di (2-ethylhexyl) phte (DEHP) in white spirit and study the different concentration between the same brand and the different brands. Methods: DEHP was detected in a solid phase extraction-ultra performance liquid chromatography (SPE-UPLC) method. DEHP was extracted from white spirit, using solid phase extraction column, then detected with ultra high performance liquid chromatograph. The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water and the flow rate was 0.4 mL/min. The UV detection wavelength was 224 nm. Results: The linear relation was good in this method, the RSD was less than 15%, and the recovery was between 90.08% and 103.32%. The low limit of the detection was 1 μg/mL. The samples with five different bland were all contain DEHP. Conclusion: The method is compeletely suitable for determination of DEHP in white spirit.
