Abstract Objective: To explore the application effect of ultrasonic vibration combined with multi enzyme solution in centralized cleaning of instruments in stomatological hospitals. Methods: From March to May 2022,428 pieces of various instruments routinely used in Stomatological Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University were collected and divided as the control group and the test group by a random number table method, with 214 pieces in each group. The control group was pre-cleaned with multi enzyme solution, while the test group was pre-cleaned with ultrasound vibration combined with multi enzyme solution. The cleaning quality and qualified bacteriological detection after cleaning were compared between the two groups. Results: The qualified rate was higher in the experimental group after cleaning the instruments than that in the control group in magnifying glass test, adenosine triphophate fluorescence test and naked eye test (98.13% vs. 93.93%, 94.39% vs. 87.38%,99.53% vs. 96.73%) with significant difference (P<0.05). The eligible rate of bacteriological testing in the test group was higher than that in the control group immediately, 30 minutes, and 2 hours after instrument cleaning (99.07% vs. 95.79%, 97.20% vs. 92.06%, 92.99% vs. 86.92%), with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of ultrasonic vibration combined with multi enzyme solution in the centralized cleaning of instruments in stomatological hospitals can effectively remove residual substances, improve the cleaning qualification rate, and enhance the sterilization effect.
