Abstract To meet the social demand for health inspection and quarantine professionals under Healthy China strategy, Wenzhou Medical University, taking advantages of its medical laboratory technology and the experience in professional education, has explored the interdisciplinary educational mode. The author introduces the train of thought, the implementation method and the preliminary results from the aspects of training objectives, curriculum, teaching staff and teaching resources, so as to share experience in the higher education reform of health inspection and quarantine specialty against the background of New Medical Science.
