Abstract This article summed up managerial in the process of using extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) by professional nurses to treat COVID-19 critically ill patients. A quick, effective and safe working mode was established in the treatment of patients with COVID-19 by the construction of ECMO care team, rational allocation of human resources, optimizing workflow, enhancing pre-service training to guarantee proper treatment and safety of medical staff.
