Application of saline injection dissection in laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy

Abstract：Objective: To explore the application value of saline injection dissection in laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. Methods: Eight patients of laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy in Jinhua Women and Children’s Hospital from January 2014 to December 2015 were selected and randomly assigned to two groups: observation group (40 cases), injecting nature saline between ovarian cyst wall and ovarian cortex before laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy; control group (40 cases), directly laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. Operation time, intraoperative hemorrhage, cyst rupture rate, hemoglobin change before and after surgery, duration of hospitalization, the highest body temperature after surgery, postoperative anal exhaust time, follicle stimulation hormone (FSH) level preoperatively and 3 months postoperativly of the two groups were compared. Results: The operative duration, blood loss, intraoperative cyst rupture rate in observation group were significantly less than that of the control group (P<0.05). There was a significant difference (P<0.05) of the FSH level variety preoperative and postoperative in the control group and there was no significant difference in the observation group. There was no significant difference in the postoperative hospital stay, the highest temperature and the time of anal exhaust after operation between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: The injection of natural saline can effectively shorten the operation time of laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, reduce the cyst rupture and blood loss during operation, and protect ovarian function.
