Abstract：The new round of “Double First-Class” Initiative highlights the significance of cultivating firstclass talents. Graduate study, as the highest level of our education system, is not only an essential element of the “Double First-Class” construction but also a key representation of national core competitive power. Therefore,improving the quality of degree awarding becomes the most urgent mission of graduate education and its development. There are many deficiencies in the current quality of graduate degree awarding, Wenzhou Medical University has made some achievements in improving the graduate degree awarding quality. This article, taking Wenzhou Medical University for an example, analyzes its quality control system for graduate degree awarding from the perspective of institutional improvement, curriculum development, process management, mentor team construction and other ways, with an aim to providing some practical reference for other local universities to carry out high-quality development of graduate education.
