Abstract：Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrine and metabolic disorders in women of childbearing age and the most common cause of ovulation disorders. Elderly women with PCOS have many infertility factors such as endocrine and metabolic disorders, decreased oocyte and embryo quality, and poor endometrial receptivity. Some patients can improve their pregnancy outcomes through in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET). In this process, how to find suitable strategies to obtain higher clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate is still uncertain. In this paper, we reviewed the research progress and discussed the strategies of IVF-ET in elderly PCOS women in order to provide some ideas for clinical application.
