Abstract：Objective: To investigate the social anxiety level and its influencing factors in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and to supply theoretical basis for clinical nursing. Methods: Totally 104 children with ALL who were hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital & Yuying Children’s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and the Affiliated Children’s Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from December 2018 to September 2019 were selected as research subjects by convenience sampling method. Social anxiety scale for children and pediatric quality of life inventory 4.0 generic core scale were used for the investigation. Data were analyzed by nonparametric test, multivariate linear regression and Spearman method. Results: The incidence of social anxiety in children was 48.08%, with the mean score of social anxiety being 7(2, 10). Multiple liner regression showed the major influencing factors (P<0.05) were induction remission period, 13-18 years of age, democratic parenting style and screen time. The social anxiety level was negatively correlated with quality of life (P<0.05). Conclusion: Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia have a higher incidence of social anxiety, which affects their quality of life. We should pay more attention to the induction remission stage, encourage the teenagers to reduce screen time and advocate democratic parenting.
