Abstract：Objective: To investigate the effect of homocysteine on the expression of interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-6 (IL-6) in gitter cells. Methods: The BV-2 cells were cultured in the cell culture fluid for 24 hours. HCY/DL-CY or the control solvent were added, and a cell counting kit (cck8) was used to observe the proliferation activity. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to evaluate the concentration of IL-1β and IL-6 in the cell culture supernate. Well, mRNA levels of IL-1β and IL-6 were analysed by Real-time Quantitative PCR Detecting System (QPCR). Results: The proliferation activity in each group were not significantly different, and the mRNA expression and protein expression of IL-1β and IL-6 in the supernatant homocysteine group was significantly changed. Conclusion: Homocysteine increases the expression of IL-1β, IL-6 in gitter cells.
