Abstract：Objective: To analyze the path of psychological nursing intervention in the treatment, rehabilitation and growth of patients with mental disorders, and to reflect on the issues of value neutrality and empathy in the intervention process, so as to provide experience for psychological nursing services to intervene in the rehabilitation of mental disorders. Methods: By reflecting the intervention and supervision process of 1 patient with mental disorders, this paper summarized the advantages of introspection, the emotional involvement of the nursing workers and the neutrality of values. Results: Communication and cooperation with psychiatrists were more conducive to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. Focusing on the present and the advantage perspective helped the patient to discover more possibilities and hopes. The application of painting skills and systematic family view could help us further understand the patient. When involved in the dilemma of value neutrality and role identity deviation, we have to sort it out and timely supervision is needed. Conclusion: In the process of intervention, we should maintain value neutrality to avoid emotional involvement, which is more conducive to the growth of patients and the goal achievement of good family relationship. Team work and supervision are beneficial to the development and service of social workers.
